Our Memorial Day Weekend Get Together

Earl, and my son's Jesse and Chad staring at the grill. Earl enjoys grilling with the boys!
My granddaughter Sabrina holding my grandson Anthony
My Daughter Alexis is feeding her son, Anthony, some watermelon and my son Jeremy is trying to help, actually he is dying to take over!
My son Ezie loves to fish, just like his big brothers!!
My daughter, Mallory and my granddaughter, Vivianna. Vivianna is trying to teach Mallory how to bait a hook. Mallory hates worms but she is going to prove that she is a tomboy!

Vivianna, Sabrina and Mallory fishing. Poor Mallory, she finally got the darn worm on the hook and as soon as she cast --the worm flew off! After she touched the worm and everything! Yuck!
My granddaughter, Miss Olivia, caught the first and only fish! She was so proud! I had to hurry and take a picture so she could throw the fish back in because it needed to breathe in the water!
My son Chad playing with his little brother Jace. I love the way my older kids interact with my younger kids even with such a large gap in their ages!!
Ezie fished all day long. You couldn't get him away from the water.
On Sunday all of my kids families, except for one of them, met at a park and spent the afternoon together. We had a wonderful time! We rarely all get together because of work schedules and stuff, so this was really a nice day. A couple of my daughter-in-laws had their sisters come to and it was really nice to see them. The kids fished and played while the guys all grilled. The girls and I talked and watched the kids. It was just the perfect day to spend with my family!!

I'm Busy Making Carrots

Chenille Carrot with some of my other Treat Bags

Carrot Treat Bags

I have been busy making carrots. Stuffed carrots and carrot treat bags for my Etsy Shop. They don't take long and they are pretty cute! I'm so excited, "piecefulbits" featured my Chenille Carrot in her treasury list. My carrot is listed with some really cute chenille foods. Muffins, Ice Cream, Cupcakes and other Yummies. Definitely take a peek at the yummy chenille foods!!

Jace has been sick for the last week with a sore throat and congestion, but he is feeling so much better today. He is back to dancing and being silly. Hurray!

We had a snow again last night and I guess it is still snowing. It looks so pretty but I am ready for spring. As I'm making all these Easter things it feels more like Christmas outside, but soon the snow will be gone and it will be Spring!!

I need to go sew some more and do my daily chores of dishes, laundry and picking up. (I'd rather just sew!) Be back later!

It's Sunday

The weekend is almost over. This weekend I made some collage paper and have some pulp ready to make some more handmade paper. I babysat one of the twins overnight on Friday. It was Daniel and Tedi's 3rd Anniversary!! Tedi got her hair cut and streaked and she looks more beautiful then usual!! I also picked up Sabrina and took her back, so I got a chance to talk to her. Mallory had a fever last night and was kind of achey. This is the third weekend in a row that she hasn't felt very good???? I also go some laundry and dishes done.

Everyone is home tomorrow for Presidents Day and the kids will be home all week for winter break. I plan on getting some big time cleaning done this week with the kids home to help me (I can hope, HUH?????)

I want to try to check out some Blogs tonight. I love looking at other people's work! I get so inspired from seeing how talented other people are.

Well, that's it for now. I have to go do some more dishes and laundry. Jace just woke up so I want to spend some time with him too.

Have a wonderful evening!!

It's Valentines Day

Good Morning,

It's finally here, Valentines Day! The kids went to school with their valentines gifts for their teachers and principal and cookies. Ezie and Mallory were both so excited! Mallory made up extra little goodie bags all by herself for her class. Mally is such a giving person! Jace just had his speech therapy and give his therapist, Kathy, a little something. He LOVED the gummy hearts that she gave him! Earl and I decided not to buy each other anything for Valentines Day. He did get me a really nice card though with a sweet message written in it. That's really all I wanted.

Today is the giveaway day for ONE World-ONE Heart! I went on and had the kids draw one name for every 25 people who entered mine. Ezie and Mallory each drew three names. They were so excited to be part of the giveaway!! Okay would you guys like to know who won?? My winners are:

I have added something extra to my prizes. All six winners will also get a heart that is made out of my handmade paper and my collage paper.

Thanks to everyone who entered! I really enjoyed looking at people Blogs and fully intend to go back and look at the blogs better now that I'm not rushing to enter everyone's giveaways---that I didn't win. Man, I entered everyone and won nothing--except some really nice comments on my stuff and the chance to look at some really great blogs!!! I think everyone who participated came out a winner!! Thank you so much Lisa for putting all this together this year!!

Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!!
