My second oldest granddaughter went to her Jr. Prom on Saturday.
I can't believe that she's that old already.
I remember when her mom and dad went to their Sr. Prom.

Anyway,
here are some pictures of my beautiful granddaughter.

and here's a picture of her with her sister and brother, Liv and Jesse.

and then Fatima, Vivianna, Jesse and little Jesse

I think Jesse and Fatima have 3 great kids!!

I visited, drank, and actually danced.....and danced.....and danced.

I DON'T dance,

but I just let go and danced and had so much fun!

Anyway,

Lexie was beautiful and I hope it was the day of her dreams!

Just for Fun

Mallory and Earl went to a girl scout Sweetheart Dance last weekend.

Mallory and Ezie knocked this icicle off the side of the house.
I'm glad they didn't break the guttering off!

The Sweetheart Dance

Last night Earl took Mallory to a Sweetheart Dance
with one of Mallory's friends and her Aunt.

The girls all looked so pretty and Earl cleaned up pretty good too!

Here is a picture of me and Mallory with my Dad when we were in Kansas.

I remember how much I loved going to things with my dad when I was a little girl. It didn't happen very often, but having that special time with my daddy really meant a lot to me.

So to all those dad's out there,
even though you probably don't want to go to these dances
and stuff that the mom's out there planned for you to do......
you are making wonderful memories for your daughters!

Crazy Pics of .....well, Me!

I thought I'd share a couple of the crazier pictures that were taken of me while I was in Kansas.

This is me, my crazy sister Robby and the always nutty Mallory on New Years Eve

Yes, this is me dancing.
I'm right in front of Mallory (in the pink).
I wish more people would have joined in...it was fun!!

This is a picture of 2 of my sisters,

Stacey and Cathy,

and I don't know what the heck happened to me in this picture?!?!?!?

I only had 1 drink???

Okay, I just thought I'd share a few of the funny pictures of me with you.

Have a wonderful day!

Can we Please Just Be Nice?!?!?

I wasn't going to post anything about the election, but...... I changed my mind. Months ago I thought I had made up my mind about who I was going to vote for in the Presidential Election, but the closer the election gets the more undecided I am.

Honestly, I will just be glad when it's all over with and all the nastiness and negativity stops. I would love to be able to watch "big people t.v." without hearing so many mean things being said about politicians.....by politicians. Why does running for a public office mean you have to be mean and vicious??? Why can't the politicians just take responsibility for themselves and talk about their qualifications??? I hate the mudslinging!!!!!!!! Honestly, I think our politicians need to go back to Kindergarten and learn how to play fair.

Ezie has come home from school saying, "McCain sucks!" I have to stop him and ask him what does he really know about McCain??? What does he know about Obama???? He knows nothing except what he hears from others and on t.v.. Earl and I had Ezie sit down and watch a debate with us and talked about how America is suppose to be a free country, a country where you can express your ideas regardless of sex, race or religion. Are we suppose to teach mudslinging or respect for the ideas that each politician has??? I want to teach my kids that you don't have to believe in a certain politicians ideas, but, you can still respect that politician for his ideas, you don't have to say mean or vicious things about that person. Voting is a right that we have as Americans, voting is a personal decision that we should be able to make without being put down for. Vote for who you believe will be best person to run our country, and respect others for doing the same, even if it's not the same person as you voted for.

I do know that more than likely, unless he just has a terrible night, I will be voting for Warren Sapp tonight on Dancing with the Stars!! For a big man he can sure dance and he has the cutest darn facial expressions!!

Dance Recital 2008

Mallory 2004 - She was only 3

2005 - 4 years old

Ezie - 2004 - 6 years old
He broke his arm 2 days before recital and had to have surgery so he missed recital , but he sure looked cute for his pictures!
2006 - 5 & 7 years old
Ezie and Mallory 2007 - 6 & 8 years old

Ezie & Mallory in three different dances this year, 2008. 7 & 9 years old.

Mallory is being a little dramatic - she is into posing this year!! Ezie just wanted to get it over with so he could get home and play.

This was Ezie's last year to dance. He wasn't really into it this year. Mallory received her 5 year trophy and can't wait for next year to start. She loves to dance. They were both asked to be on the competition team, but it costs a lot of money and it takes a lot of time. Mallory still wants to play baseball, cheerlead, and learn to play basketball. So she will continue in regular dance classes and we will keep going to the recitals and loving every minute of our beautiful little dancer!

My DIL made this up using the pictures of my 5 oldest boys. So funny!
