We're Bloomin'

Here's my progress on the pillow for Mallory's friend.

Mallory, of course, had to get silly and put the pillow on for hat,

she's so cute!

Hopefully I finish the pillow today and can post the finished product tomorrow!

I'm Trying to Bloom!

I saw this beautiful pillow on Pinterest and had to get my scrap yarn out and try it.

After I started it Mallory I and decided it would be a great gift for her friends birthday gift.

So here is the start of mine.

It is actually really easy and I so hope it turns out pretty.

Thanks to Lucy at Attic 24 for coming up with this gorgeous pattern!

I'll post my progress tomorrow.

More of What I Made

Here is a picture I borrowed from my sister Robyn. I had her family's name for Christmas and so I Made here a scarf and fingerless gloves in a really pretty rusty, turquoise and gray blend of the Lion Brand Tweed Stripes yarn. It is my favorite color of all of the tweeds. I also made some zebra striped pillows for my niece Ashley because Robyn and Ashley painted her walls in zebra stripe and it looks so cool! I had to make something to add to it. I also made some hotpads and then Emeril's Baby Bam and some chocolate covered pretzels. I really need to learn how to make things for guys though. Sorry Matthew and Darrin!! I had fun making everything up for Robyn's family....I just wish we lived closer so I could actually see them!!

Sewing Lessons and Fun Times!

Mallory is going to a Birthday Party today and wanted to buy a small gift and then make a gift for her friend. So she decided on some cute pink flannel fabric with Princess Kitty Cats on it and made a pillow for her friend and a smaller one for her friends dolls.
I took a picture of the end result,
BUT,
it isn't on my camera and I've already wrapped the present.

Then Ezie had to make something to,
and,
YES,
Ezie is in pink silk pajama's,
what can I say,
the boy LOVES pink?!?!

Here's Ezie's big fleece pillow that he made.

Then I made some little pom-poms ponytail holders for Mallory and her friend since the party is in the High School Musical theme. I didn't have any red fleece to put in the pom-poms to match the school colors, so white will have to do. (These pom-poms look really cute in the girls hair and the make really nice little cheerleading pom-poms for dolls too.)
and then I made a High School Musical tote bag for Mallory and her friend.
We all had fun sewing and everything turned out pretty darn good!
EXCEPT,
Daddy is currently lost while taking Mallory to the party
and
NOT
A very happy camper!

My DIL made this up using the pictures of my 5 oldest boys. So funny!
