Mallory's Party, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake and Miss Hannah

Mallory had a busy birthday weekend. She spent Friday night with her brother, Chad, and then had a party and sleepover with 2 of her nieces the Saturday. All of the kids showed up for her party, except Chad, because they already had plans. Mallory had a great time and it was fun to see all the grandkids and my own kids all together. Vivianna and Olivia spent the night and the kids had a great time playing around.

Jace turned into shy nonspeaking Jace to a little chatterbox. He was running around playing around with everyone, laughing and saying his little one word lines. He was trying to say everyones names and associating the the other boys were his brothers. Everyone enjoyed seeing the new out of his shell and vocal Jace!

Mallory wanted a Reese's Cake. I had made chocolate peanut butter cakes when I did cake decorating before I had Mallory, but honestly I don't bake much anymore. The cake turned out wonderful though! I mixed about a 1/2 cup of peanut butter with some of the wet cake mix, spread it on the bottom of the pan and then added the rest of the cake mix over it. Mallory made peanut butter frosting by adding about 1/2 cup of peanut butter to vanilla frosting. MMMMmmmm! It was yummy! The bottom Peanut butter made a little, not crust, but kind of like a crust to the cake and the frosting was so yummy!!

Bling! Bling!

Now for Miss Hannah. I won this dress on Grossgrains and sent it to my niece Hannah in Columbia, Missouri. She was featured on Anastasia's Pottinger's Photography Blog eating ice cream at a local ice cream place, Sparky's.
I think Hannah Loves chocolate Ice Cream
and I think it loves her too!
Hannah is so cute! Someday her Aunt Sherry is going to get to see her in person, but until now she will enjoy her in photos!

It sounds like a perfect birthday. How lucky to have everyone celebrate it with Mallory. The cake sounds wonderful! I love chocolate and peanut butter. Do you remember when we used to wake up before school and make hot pudding? I loved that!
