Vintage Valentines Swap & Congrats to Melinda

I meant to post on this yesterday, but I had 2 little boys that thought otherwise about me being on the computer. Anyway, my Vintage Valentines Swap partner is Kana from Kana Creates. Kana has a fairly new blog so make sure you stop by and check it out and say hi to her. Kana sent me a wonderful swap package.

She sent the cutest little tin with a Valentine and glitter inside and a magnet on the back. The hanging glittery heart is so beautiful and the stunning big heart is filled with tons of Valentines goodness. She also sent a little calender, a hankie (which I collect), a candy bar, and 2 notepads. I feel so spoiled! Thanks Kana for making my Valentines special and yours is on the way to you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine! Here's a sneak peak at what I sent to Kana.

Next I just wanted to brag about my good friend Melinda from Melinda's Fabric Fancies. If you don't already know she was published in the February issue of Apronology. I am Melinda's biggest fan!! If you haven't seen her work please check out her blog. You will be blown away!

Melinda doesn't use patterns, which really impresses me!! She uses a combination of paper and fabric in her artwork. Check out the detail of the ladies face on this apron.
