A Halloween Party and the Zombie Jar Reveal

My daughter and her boyfriend had a Halloween Party last night. We all had a great time and the kids loved getting dressed up early and getting to see their neices and nephews. Here's a few pictures that I wanted to share.

Lexie as Dorothy and Anthony as the LionJake as an Executioner
Ezie was a gangster
Mallory's costume eventually came off
but
the Prisoner Monster wasn't going to leave her alone.Ezie borrowed a mask
My Grandaughter Olivia was firefighter
Thanks Lexie and Jake for a great party!!

Now for the Zombie Jar Reveal.

If your my swap partner, Mickey, please don't peak!!

I have never made a Jar craft before and I wasn't to sure about this but my sweet friend AwtemNymf said to me

"Today is reveal day! I wasn't sure about mine either, but it's what the artists puts into it that matters! I like it and I'm not blowing sunshine up the patootey *haha*."

So here's my Zombie Jar
Thanks for your words of encouragement AwtemNymf! If you want to see some of the other ladies super cool Zombie Jars check out Saucy's Zombie Jar Blog. I have a ton of ideas going through my head.............now.

What a great time! Sophia was Dorothy one year and I was the Scare Crow. We tried talking the boys into being the Lion and Tin Man, but they wouldn't have any of it. It would have been perfect. What did you dress up as? Cathy

Your jar was wonderful! I am not secure in my crafting abilities but I accessorize to the hilt so I was happy with my final result.

Hi Sherry,
The halloween pics are awesome!! What cute costumes.
I was wondering if you could drop me an email and let me know if you or Amy have received your swap packages yet? I tried to email you but it bounced back to me :(
Thanks so much !

Great photos and it looks like fun! I have to go all the way to my hometown to my brother's for Halloween because we don't live in a neighborhood.
The jar art looks great!

You really did a cool job of this jar! I love it, look at that little gal inside, is she vintage?

AwtemNymf is absolutely right! It's ART and there is no wrong approach! You did an awesome job!

That jar is so cute. These costumes are too freaky for me but Dorthy and her lion cub are incredibly cute. Not to mention the little fire fighter. Adorable!

My DIL made this up using the pictures of my 5 oldest boys. So funny!
