Why Does This Make Me Cry?

photo from telegraph.co.uk

Everyone probably already knows by now I love to watch American Idol. I'm also sure everyone has seen the Britain's Got Talent version on the news over the last few days of the contestant Susan Boyle. If you haven't you really should go to youtube.com and watch it. It is an amazing video and every time I watch, I cry.

Why does watching this video immediately bring tears to my eyes?

Did it bring tears to your eyes?

Isn't she fantastic? And I loved her spunky attitude! I saw this the other day and thought if she doesn't get some sort of singing contract out of this, then they are all insane.

Thank you for posting this, Sherry. It is awesome! I think it jerks at our heartstrings because because she obviously was an underdog, but proved to be victorious. She was a charmer and I hope she goes far. Simon seems a lot nicer on the British program, doesn't he? Twyla
