My grand daughter, Sabrina, has been our cookie seller for the last several years now. Lexie used to be a Girl Scout and there has never been a troop opened for Mallory to join. (We'll try again this year!) Sabrina and her mom, Nikki, delivered our cookies yesterday. Yum, Yum, Yum!
I can remember being a Brownie and pulling the wagon behind me full of cases of cookies and going door to door trying to sell them. Who else remembers when you had to order the cookies in advance and then sell them? I'm sure my mom does! How many boxes did our poor parents ending up buying? We had to work to sell those cookies back then. What great memories though!
I think everyone has one particular kind of Girl Scout cookies that is there favorite. Mints were always my favorite growing up, but now I've switched to. MMMMmmmm! They're like little candy bars with there coconut, carmel and cookie goodness. Mallory loves thin mints and most of the boys in our family like the Do-Si-Dos.
What is your favorite kind of Girl Scout cookie?

My family always has me get the thin mints and peanut butter patties. I forgot about the caremel delights! those really are good! (I need to find some girl scouts selling their cookies so I can buy some more!!!) has the price gone up since last year? they cost me $4 a box but ohhhh so worth every penny! :)

Oh dear.....just one?!?!!!! The Samoa's and Thin Mints are my top two, then the Do-Si-Dos.
Goodness..........oh yes, but
Trouble is what they are ;)
You don't have to preorder any more?? What???
Enjoy your cookies. Can't wait till they make a gluten-free version! :-)

SAMOAS SAMOAS SAMOAS can you tell how much I covet them, LOL. My husband brought home one box the other day, ONE box. I said "are you kidding me, that will be gone in 20 minutes". I had to go find a girl scout at the grocery store the other day and buy several more ; ) I was a girl scout and yes we walked door to door. My Mom always froze several boxes afterwards, lol. The thin mints are really good frozen.

Yep- I remember being a Brownie and selling Girl Scout cookies too! I remember taking them to my Mom's work and trying to sell them to the office workers, office next door, office next to that one, and so on and so forth. I remember calling my family members and getting them to buy a box! *lol* I even went o so far as to selling them to the patients that came into the office. Everyone loves a good cause and plus- the cookies ARE good! I'll have to look for a Brownie or GS around here? Hmmm!
My fave has ALWAYS been the Thin Mints & sugared shortbread!
I love to put mine in the freezer- dunno why, but I like them that way!
My favorite cookies are the Tagalongs! Oh my goodness. I don't think they call them that anymore, though. They are peanut butter covered in chocolate- mmmm!
LOVE Dead Poet's Society. One of my ALL TIME favorite movies.
We have all felt the way that you are feeling about home schooling, Sweetie. Don't be too tough on yourself. I know that you are doing a great job, because you CARE.:) Lori
Hi, I checked you Twitter but I am going to delete that acct, if that is possible. I was only following my brother but know I connect through Facebook with H.S. friends and family. So I'm excited to see what "fairy" you are working on. Lisa
This year I ordered Thin Mints, the coconutty ones, low fat lemon(pfft) and one new one. Cookies? Yes, I am a cookie monster!!!
Yum... I just bought a few boxes this week! :) The coconut ones are my favorite, too!!
I've been meaning to send my tag to you!! I will sometime this week. I hope I'm still on time.
mints and then those things you mentioned...and the peanut butter ones and my hubby likes the do-si-do ones....and .......good grief. I can't pick just one...they must be like Lay's potato chips!
I'll have to say the thin mints are the best. Since they are thin... that means I get two at a time. Right?
