I ALmosT ForGot I HaD a BLoG!

I can't believe it's been so long since I've blogged.

I have gotten so used to just going on Facebook, but I really do miss blogging.

So here we go,

my first post in almost 10 months.

I wanted to share this rag basket that I just finished crocheting for a friend of mine.

I crocheted the basket using cotton crochet thread and sheets torn into strips.

The bucket actually stands up really well by itself but I put a bucket in it just for extra firmness.

I cut the top of a 5 gallon bucket.

It was really easy too!

Sometimes I amaze myself at the new things I can learn to do.

Afterwards I used sandpaper and sanded the rough edges.

I really like how the bucket turned out.

Crocheting the bucket is very hard on the wrists,

but well worth the pain.
