Square 11 is a rather simple square but I liked it and I love my changes to it.
I got the pattern for this square from Debi's blog DLY'S Hooks and Yarns

I followed Debi's pattern through Row 5,
except I used an H hook
and then I started making my changes.
My instructions probably aren't very clear and I apologize for that in advance.
I'm writing them out in my own way mainly for me to go back and make more squares for another afghan, but I will be more than happy to try to help you understand my way of writing if you are interested in making some of these squares.

Row 6: (turquoise) 2 DC, ch 2, 2 DC in each corner. 1 DC in the BL of next 6 stitches, 2 DC in ch space, 1 FPDC in the next DC and then repeat backwards for the rest of the row. (21 DC)
Row 7: (purple) 2 HDC, ch 2, 2 HDC in each corner and then SC in the BL of the next 4 stitches, FLHDC in the next 2 stitches, SC in the BL of the next 4 stitches and then a FPHDC in the middle DC. Repeat backwards across (16 SC, 10 HDC)
Row 8: (white) 2 SC, ch 2, 2 SC in each corner and then a SC in theBL of the next 5 stitches, a FPSC in the next 2 stitches, 4 SC in the BL of the next 4 stitches and then in the middle stitch of the row a FPSC...repeat backwards for the other side of the row. (27 SC in all...22 SC, 5 FPSC)
Row 9: (light blue) 2 DC, ch2 , 2 DC in each corner and a SC in the BL of each stitch of the previous row (31 SC)
Row 10: (darker blue) 2 SC, ch 2, 2 SC in each corner and a SC in each stitch of the previous row (35 SC)
